Display D3

Display D3 is a unit included in Olsbergs control systems for forestry and timber cranes. The Display indicates standard mode, information about operation status, if the system is active or not. In case of deviation from normal the system indicates error codes on the screen.

Safety control at start up

The D3 system detects if any of the joysticks are not in neutral position at start up. This is shown in the display by a warning triangle and flashing symbols for the functions actuated. In the same way the display is warning if a push-button is depressed or short cicuited at start up.

Settings of operator profiles

The display is used as a monitor at configuration of operator profiles. Up to five different operator profiles can be set in the D3 system.

Status information

If the system loose contact with a joystick or any other unit in the system this is indicated with the text message – Right lever missing

This is a overall message and indicates that there is a CAN communication problem somewhere in the system.

If the operator has forgotten to deactivate the start/stop button in the cranbe cabin at the last session the display indicates RESTART. This is an important safety function to prevent the crane from being activated by mistake. To get back to standby the start/stop button crane cabin must be switch off and on again.

If the power supply is low in the system the display is fading and if the power supply is less than 16V it will turn black.
