RMS Box

RMS Box is a unit in Olsbergs control system for forestry and timber cranes. The unit is used for activating manual operation of the system and is also equipped with an integrated emergency stop as a safety function.

Manual control

When the control system is powered you can on the RMS box choose if you would like to operate the system manually by activating a push-button. A LED in the push-button is lit and the dump valve in the hydraulic valve system is activated and the crane can be operated manually via the levers on the valve. To return to start-up mode, Standby, push the same button again deactivation.

Integrated emergency stop

The RMS box has also an integrated emergency stop which is easy to reach in case of something unforeseen would happen.
